The Hans Christian Andersen Parade was founded in 1988 by the actor Torben Iversen and it has performed 7.000 times in the entire world. The unique cast of 20 young fairy tale characters in authentic colorful costumes will meet you in the joy of acting. The show has received Danish and international awards (“Best Local Entertainment”). It is a tribute to the life and works of the most famous Dane ever, Hans Christian Andersen. And of course: It is presented in English!

SPECIAL SHOWS – DESIGNED FOR YOUR INTERNATIONAL GUESTS 

The Steadfast Tin Soldier, a little drummer boy will welcome the guests at the door step and Hans Christian Andersen will say welcome to the fairy tale dinner. The popular fairy tale characters will mingle, smile and stand up for photos while the guests enjoy a welcome drink. After the first course at the fairy tale dinner we will present our show (10 to 25 minutes) – a look into the world of Hans Christian Andersen: Dialogs, catchy songs (“I am Hans Christian Andersen”, “The Emperor´s New Clothes”, “Thumbelina” and “The Ugly Duckling”) – a warm welcome to the fairy tale kingdom of Denmark!

All the popular fairy tale characters are there while you see objects and listen to the story of the poets life and works. "Andersen" leads you through the exhibition.
